Saturday 15th November - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – gloomy
with drizzle.
As it was not raining Mag went on her early morning walk at 7 and I sleep
right through it, I didn’t miss anything as it was very gloomy which
stayed here in Felixstowe all day ! After a lay-in doing the usual word
games I left Mag in bed finishing off her book I headed out in the van at
10 to take my daily weather photos driving down to the yellow beach hut
near the Regal Restaurant and as there was some nice waves breaking to
walked down on the beach to take some pics and quickly got two wet feet! I
then snapped the yellow beach hut with its red hot poker flowers before
heading quickly to Felixstowe Ferry, there were loads of golfers out today
after yesterdays washpit! There were a few dinghies out on the Deben in the
gloom, a few photos I was heading for home for breakfast and to sort out my
pics. A snack lunch followed by my exercises as the light drizzle fell,
Benny was in and out non-stop with wet foot prints everywhere! Then with
the drizzle stopped Mag and I headed out for a walk around 3.15 walking to
the town to see how the volunteers were getting on putting up the Christmas
lights, despite the poor weather they had done a brilliant job! We
continued down past Harvest house coming out on the prom near the Fludyers
and it was fairly busy, popular even on a dull day! Back through the Spa
gardens and home for a cuppa and the last of the yummy homemade cake, top
day for rugby as England bet the All Blacks!
